From factory yes. I think it's about 120ish if I remember right. Never been that fast in mine.

The parameters of my 93 octane tune read "Speed limiter: Off" so I assume this can be overridden.

My stock tune file I viewed from SCT has it set at 131. (2010 Taurus Sho) Not sure if they changed it through the years or for the PP. My guess is just about every tuner turns this off.

I have a 2015 non-PP that is all stock. I just checked the parts catalog here at work, and it says it doesn't have an electronic speed limiter. I have had mine up over 120 before, and it acted like it wanted more.

They are when they are lowered. My car is a dream at that speed.

Yeah my 2014 non PP was 130 in Drive and 132 in Sport. I had it lifted with my tune and yes, it’s gone now. I hit the limit of 140 on the speedo and it was still pulling so I’m not sure where it ended up.

Maybe like Roger said the 2015 and newer don't have a speed limiter ??

My 2015 non pp cut out at 210 kph not sure if it's a Canadian car thing or not as I see some other folks getting quite a bit more speed out of their stock vehicles

I think that is around 130 mph right. So I was right around that speed but did not feel any engine cut out ? I hope mine will go beyond that. I will try this again !!

Speed limiter is definitely removed with a tune. Even a NA car Id get the speed limiter removed. Imho speed limiters should never be on any car. Speaking of though I have no idea how fast mine can go. I've gone over 140 a couple times...in those couple seconds while still accelerating...in a 65...its like what am I doing? I can't even see my speed...

Strange, I have 2015 SHO PP and it definitely hard cuts at 115. At least this looks like it will go away when i do a tune this spring.

2014 SHO PP here with the police mode no governor went 135 wanted to give it more but started to get close to some cities :/ mom was excited though. She was like my BF in college took me 120 I was like that’s it

I have a 2013 npp and is stock as far as I know. I buried 140 and it shut off shortly after so I'm not sure of top speed.
