After noticing the post on the Quaife in the open forum, I thought I'd ask this. I don't know too much about my differential, but a non-SHO buddy of mine claims I have a Posi. Considering I've been spending most of my spare time examining the intake, I haven't checked. What's an easy way to find out?

Jack up the front of the car and spin one wheel. If they both spin the same direction, you do.If one spins forward and the other spins backwards, you don`t At least that`s how you can tell on a rwd car.Burnouts are not a good way to tell because often both will spin of flat pavement.

Well, my quaife works the same as an open diff (spin one, the other spins in the opposite direction), but with a little added resistance. It does, however, not spin the inside wheel under hard corners and wot. It really pulls the car hard around highway on and off-ramps. burn_out shoot
