Hey guys I just want to let everyone know I'm sure some already do but. While at AZ tonight getting plugs and wires for my wifes geo prism 1.6 I found out it takes the same plugs as the SHO!!!lol seriously it does.Anyways
I had the same problem finding plugs that were the correct height like the SHO so the wires would snug to the valve cover. I looked at 6 different brands and the autolite platinums were perfect. Then I compared the double platinum PN app3923 to a motorcraft agsp32pp I have (for reference):) and it is only like 1 mm longer than it. Also the electrodes are almost idedntical in shape, they are shorter than the agsp32fm as well. These plugs are pretty much the exact replacement for the agsp32pp. Sorry for the long read.

the 3924 is the same heat range as the AGSP32. the 3923 is colder and is made for honda/toyota apps that have longer insulators.

also AGSF spark plugs are fine to use in a V6 sho, they are conical seat (vastly more common to other Fords) and actually seal better than the gasket seat spark plugs. the first time you screw it in it will make more than the required .010" interface, no special machining of the head is required.

Thanks for the extra info 1slickRED. I didn't get to specific about heat range all though
it is very important. I was more surprised to see the overall length of the plug looked much closer to the agsp, as well as the insulator shape than the fine wire motorcrafts

yeap, im using APP3924 (which are the autolite double platinums)

i also picked up A-Z's Duralast ignition wires last summer when i was in a bind (horrible missing, couldnt wait for a set of other wires) The wires are actually 8mm wires and have a lifetime warranty too... and fit the plugs perfect and seal the plug wells perfectly :woohoo:
