Hey guys, I'm sure this thread has come up several times but with my research I found so many answers so I figured I'd create another post and annoy everyone and ask again ;)

Anyways. I simply just wanted to ask what spark plugs do you guys recommend? Should I stick to OE motor craft and will my mods make a difference? I am looking to get the BEST plug I can.

Mods include: CAI, downpipes, cat-back

Thanks and happy threading!

I was reading from others to have the plugs at .030 if the car isn't tuned and at .035 if it is tuned. What do you think about that?

Just ordered Autolite from RA.

XP5363

Running a rebate promo too, in which you get $2.50/ea per plug back, on top of 5% coupon...out the door, $32.66...

So that's $17.66 for a set of performance plugs, gapd .35, when all is said and done.

not bad!

I got mine from Tasca. They were $304 plus ship. But I have been using these guys lately.

http://www.group1autoparts.com/

They seem to be pretty good for the few orders I gave them.

Calgary-Good Luck getting a replacement shipped w/o returning the original. I actually had it happen with a trashed emblem Tasca sent me once. They never did send the "send back" docs for it. I tossed it. In it's condition, they must have figured, like me, that it belonged in the garbage.

Personally cheap doesn't make it a deal. Considering if you have to turn around and spend more money on plugs that are proven by countless forum members. You'll have to excuse me for sounding overly critical, just trying to save you the time from having to come back here. Assuming when or if you decide to tune or are tuned already. And be wondering why you have a lack of power or miss or hesitation. Best of luck, but autolite has never been known for quality.

i always appreciate feedback, both + an -. I run Fram gear in the krotch rocket and I like it very much. I also did some reading up on reviews prior and I think they are worth a shot. dare to be different right? cant argue with a 7 year warranty either.

hopefully they are what I expect them to be; I will post up and let yall know.

Haha I know, I need to replace them with some SEL tail lights. Just another thing to add on the to do list lol.

If I may weigh in here...i had the same issue with my taillights and after looking around for the red trimmed tails only to find that even at a junk yard they were $75 EACH. So i went to home depot and grabbed a $6 can of black plastidip and some blue painters tape. Invested about an hour of my time and blacked out the peeling chrome. Came out great!

I ordered a set of the NGK plugs that Torrie at Unleashed tuning offers on his site. The car has never run better, stronger and crisper especially at the top end. Well worth the 60 bucs i spent on the plugs.

Yah that does look pretty good, did you remove them when you plasti-dipped or kept them on the car

When I did mine, I left them on the car because I couldn't figure out how to remove the part from the trunk lid. Didn't matter because it came out great, like Sleeper4SHO's. Best $6 I ever spent. Been 3 years now and it still looks great.

Just replaced my plugs with SP534 (untuned-factory gapped at .033). Just wanted to note that at 75,000 miles they were burnt down to a gap of .045, so do not wait until 90000 as the maintenance interval suggests.

And that firewall, drivers side COP is a bitch to get at!
