I have been looking all over the country for an AC compressor. No luck. Can anyone recommend a recent source ? I have found only one source willing to rebuild it. Would prefer to find a remanufactured than ship all over the place gamble on results. I am in the Phoenix area. Any and all ideas are welcome. It seems that these are nearly extinct. Also - I assume the 10P15C will not work ? Sorry if this has been discussed - my weak searching skills did nit reveal an answer,

Based on previous postings, looks like it's for a 92.

Did you try and cross ref aftermarket new compressors? That might be the way to go if oem stuff has dried up. Rock Auto lists a few but you would have to cross reference to make sure the correct one is purchsed if available.

I have had good luck with carpart.com and bought a few good used compressors locally. I stocked up on clutches and pulleys so I'm good. If you find a junk yard that has one or more, you place your fingers over two of the holes and then rotate the pulley. If you get really strong suction then I would feel confident that it's a good one. Just make sure to use plenty of fresh oil to flush it out before you use it.

Thanks for the replies. It is a 92, and I am aware of the cross references. There just don't seem to be any of them out there. Many sellers seem to think the 10P51F and 10P51C are equivalent (they are not). The four seasons reference 57365 confuses these 2 , as well. I purchased a kit from rock auto and it came with the wrong compressor. SHO Source shows it as backordered. I am at a loss. Pursuing a rebuild with Ranshu but they will only go through dealers. Dealers are reluctant to deal with rebuilds anymore. And no luck with the junkyards. It is a rare, discontinued part these days. I am stuck mostly done with my system replacement. Didn't know I had the wrong compressor until I tried to mount it. Any help would be appreciated ! BTW - this resurrection also includes new fuel pump and tank, radiator, belts, hoses, etc. Been quite the adventure.

Do you have the part numbers from those products? I am looking at denso products and not sure what is incorrectly listed. Also is the SHO compressor different from the other Taurus Sable cars of the same years? It would make sense to use parts already in their manufacturing supply chain (doesn't mean they could or did).

The SHO compressor is totally unique to the SHO(89-95). The only compressor that is similar to the SHO compressor goes to the Mercury Lynx mid 80s. It is identical to the SHO version in every way except for the mounting holes being slightly too close together to mount on the Yamaha.

Unfortunately the only info that I can get from this number is that it's obsolete. Doesn't tell me what it's to.

Thanks. I had seen a listing but the WCX part of the suffix was not familiar to me. Wasn't sure if it was a new-salvage part designation, reman, or something else

These guys have a remanufactured option.
Thanks SHOMAN - they had one left. For whatever reason - (scarcity I assume) this is an expensive compressor. $545 remanufactured. Big ouch. If anyone else is needing a compressor for this model year - be careful with the fitment. Apparently there were at least 2 different compressors used that year. The R & Y cross reference for the 10P15F is EG365. R & Y seems like a knowledgable group - they were aware of all the cross references and issues. Thanks to all for the help and information. Will post again when we have success getting back on the road.
