I accidently posted this in the open forum, so I'll copy all the info here:
Yesterday, Jason (yamahasho) noticed that there was a bit of coolant under the water pump on my SHO. Today, driving along, with the car just starting to warm up, I pushed the clutch in to shift to 2nd, and she stalled. First attempt at restarting did nothing, a minute later, it worked. I suspect it did so in such short time if a a very small amount of barely hot coolant hit the CPS, and only bothered it momentarily (sp?).
Just ran codes, and got 41 (system lean, rear bank). This may be my mysterious vacuum leak which must not have been from the secondaries vacuum canister.
When running the test, I did notice when I tapped the throttle to do the cylinder balance test, there was a metal-rattling sound. This occurred the next time I tried it. However, after pulling out my paper clip, and restarting the engine, I tried tapping the throttle twice and did not hear any rattle.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
