Just bought for my son yesterday a 1995 SHO with 62k original miles on it. Runs and drives amazing. He stated on the way to school this morning there was a burning smell from the AC like wires where heating up and what not. Once he powered the AC/Heater off it quit so i am guessing improper ground. I will post pics when he gets home :)

He is in love with this car.

Also is there anyway to do after market headlamps for better lighting on the vehicle?

Welcome! I was at a Pull a Part this past weekend and on 92 MTX they had there, I saw the previous owner had aftermarket wiring going to both headlights. Each had a small square/flat device in the wiring going to the headlight bulb.

Headlamp Assembly or Headlight Bulb?

That age, I am guessing they are yellowed or pitted and could benefit from new clean housings. Bulb, there are a ton of choices. I would stay away from "blue", "hid look", etc and over wattage bulbs. I would look at Sylvania SilverStar Ultra, Phillips NightGuide Platinum, or similar. It should be 9007 or HB5 (same part). I personally don't recommend HID or LED without retrofitting the housings.

Another thing you can do is rewire the system. Check out Daniel Stern Lighting for a more in depth article.https://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/relays/relays.html 0.5v drop across wiring, switches, relays, connectors, etc can easily be over 200 lumen lost at the light source.
