For some time now I have joined the craze that I must find a hard button eatc for my 92 sho! Finally today at the salvage yard I gave up and took a soft button out of a Lincoln that had unbroken soft buttons on it and swapped the buttons into my unit! Now the unit looks fine. Had to melt plastic tabs to get them out and re melt them to install. Unit cost $5 bucks. :thumb:

be sure to reinforce them. use a good clear epoxy and glue the clear part to the buttons and they will never break.

good find.. i've got one i had to peice together from 4 different cars just to build one soft button Eatc!

Thanks for the idea. I thought about doing it when I had the darn thing apart but after digging through the salvage yard on a very rainy day I was sort of worn out. Guess a project for another day:thankyou:

Nice find, see not every one smashes the heck out of their eatc buttons. It was probably some old granny hehe.

When I picked up my first SHO, all the buttons were intact. I didn't know any better though, so 7 mins into my new ride, I had 2 broken buttons. Who wants to guess which ones they were? . . . .
