I upgraded my turbos last week and dialing it in with Brad.. Also got new vanity plates.. I guess I'm showing my hand..
I like it. Thought about "PSI PONY" when I had my Procharged Mustang but couldn't justify the extra yearly cost over generic tags.

He going to give you a race?
He is from Texas and came all the way to Ohio to buy the car. It was "for his wife" as he bought a Harley ST. We got on it a couple time going from the dealer to dinner. She was driving and hasn't had a high power car before (stock 90's Mustang is all the "performance" cars she has had). I'm sure she wasn't all in but, I chased her around a ramp and into traffic. Then one spot the freeway cleared up and she punched it for a small stretch. I was happy with how well I kept up. I am guessing once she gets used to the car though, I will have nothing for it. (750 hp and less weight)

Added new powerstop z23 rotors with carbon fiber/ceramic pads, new sumitomo all season tires on the 20 inch TSW rims
Reflect-a-gold wrapped all the charge and intake pipes.
Cerakote the valve covers, turbo hot sides, and manifolds
Add UPR dual valve catch can
Just replaced motor with one from a 2011 MKS with 40k, rebuilt turbos with extended tip CHRA.
The day after I got it all together went for a drive, was cruising about 65 trying to take it easy for a bit and I see a civic come up trying to pass, I let them build speed and right about the time they passed my front bumper I finally decided **** it and sent her. Probably took 5 seconds to blow by the little vtec that thought it could

Pulled the front valve cover and replaced the main gasket as it was leaking a bit, pulled plugs and checked thrm. Front three and rear center plugs

Also scoped those cylinders, it looks like #3 may have some damage to the piston seems to be chipped along the edge a bit, first pic is the area I believe damaged, second is the other side of that piston.
Motor has 40k on it from a 2011 mks. The cylinder has no damage and I found nothing on my drain plug or in a quart of oil so hopefully it's not a problem.

Can't really see in the pic from my scope but there's 3 vertical marks in cylinder #4 that are very light, they are black lines in the picture

Thought there was like a "who did you race today" thread but I can't find it.

Yesterday I was at an oreilleys and when I pulled up there was a 2018 mustang gt with a Whipple. I asked the guy if he wanted to run one and he looked at me and looked at the SHO and said are you serious? I said he'll yeah man. He said if you're serious ill run it. I said I'm dead serious man ill put a $100 on it. Walked inside to grab some oil for my rx8 and when I walked outside he was gone.

Me and 3 other guys at oreilleys were pretty disappointed, im guessing he was running around 700hp, but I did hear him leave a parking lot a while before that and he didn't sound like he knew how to shift just rolling along yet let alone racing so I guess he saw the sho badge and didn't wanna risk a loss.

Too bad, im sure if he was any halfway decent driver he'd have won depending on the distance. But it would have been alot of fun and probably fairly close if we went from a dig.

Phase 2 and a MBRP exhaust. Roush claims 750 hp 670 ft lb out of the Phase 2. I said Stage the first time and then realized they sell a Stage 2 and a Phase 2. Very different... Very confusing.

Gotcha. I didn't realize that there were Phases, lol. With the Stages that I'm familiar with, a 2 would be an appearance package and some minor performance mods, nothing that would net 700+ hp. Guess I'm behind the times.

Sent a datalog in for my first revision. Got word that my HPFP is looking weak. Guess it is time for the XDI-35. Ordered one today. Wasn't going to make this jump this soon but can't see spending $350 on a stocker knowing I will want more later.

Probably the second best investment after a tune.

Picked up a piece of metal in the shoulder of one of my 4 month old pilot sport all season 4’s. So looks like ford is going to be buying me a new tire today

That sucks. However if Ford is willing to pay...worth it. I only buy my tires at Discount/America's Tire. The tire certificates are worth their weight in gold. $35 dollar replacement plus mount and balance. Win/Win for me.

I was going to go to discount, but I remembered I bought them at the dealership when I had all the fluids changed after purchase. I also found that triple care thing in the warranty brochures I got when I bought it saying they cover replacement/repair from road hazard. Just in case they try and say they don’t cover tires purchased from them. They’re going to pay for it or I’m going somewhere else and they’ll just have a random single pilot sport sitting in their garage since they had to order one. lol I can wait an extra day if need be, its a slowwww leak. I left the (quite small) piece in there, super glued the **** out of it, and put a can of fix a flat in. It’s been holding air so far today.

I’ve had bad luck with these tires. Believe it or not, I’ve never had a flat in my life. Then I finally spend the big bucks on really nice tires and picked up a screw on the way home from ford the day they put them on. They repaired it no cost, and then now this lol

Had that happen to me with my first pair of drag radials ever on my Mustang. Within two days I had a nail, and slash in the sidewall from road debris. That was crappy.
