In an effort to better myself and work on some life skills, I decided to take on the challenge of changing my own oil. Went to Walmart and bought 6 quarts of Castrol Edge (shoutout
@SM105K ) , a Motorcraft filter, and a funnel. Drove it out to my GF's sister's place, put the car on ramps, and watched a few YouTube videos. I was confused at first because I didn't know my car had a shield that covers the oil filter, drain pain, etc. Once that was removed everything else was ridiculously simple and fun! Now that I know how to change my own oil, I'm going to be doing it more frequently.
Also got my entire front strut assembly replaced along with a PTU fluid change. Still need to do brake pads/rotors and get some bushings replaced in the rear so that creaking noise ***** off.
All in all it was a good weekend
