Drove my car to work today, bit cooler out early this morning. Pulls nice, I gotta say. Love the way it shifts now.


But then...the check engine light came on. I'm betting its an issue with an 02 sensor. The store didn't have one of the ones I needed...so I reused an old one from the previous set up...after cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, lol. I REALLY wanted to drive it...like, then, not a week later when the new sensor came in.

I'm told these SCT tuning devices can double as a code reader?

Yes the SCT device can clear the codes go to special functions and you’ll find it. Clear that sucka

Ordered some Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Went with 255's all around. Supposed to fit stock rim just fine. Will see if the hype is real. Heard only good things.

Averaged 82 mph. AJPTurbo 91 octane tune. Average temp through the desert was 115. Bet I could have gone 425 to 440 miles that tank. Good times.

If I keep my foot gentle, and "hyper mile" it, I see 18-20 mpg. At BEST.

I know right...well I’m no longer waiting for the state! E30 locked and loaded! I don’t want to ever go back to 93! Waiting for green light from Brad on my e30 3rd gear pull log! Rail pressure 2800 Psi no problem

In an effort to better myself and work on some life skills, I decided to take on the challenge of changing my own oil. Went to Walmart and bought 6 quarts of Castrol Edge (shoutout @SM105K ) , a Motorcraft filter, and a funnel. Drove it out to my GF's sister's place, put the car on ramps, and watched a few YouTube videos. I was confused at first because I didn't know my car had a shield that covers the oil filter, drain pain, etc. Once that was removed everything else was ridiculously simple and fun! Now that I know how to change my own oil, I'm going to be doing it more frequently.

Also got my entire front strut assembly replaced along with a PTU fluid change. Still need to do brake pads/rotors and get some bushings replaced in the rear so that creaking noise ***** off.

All in all it was a good weekend

Anytime you can save yourself some money and wrench on the car yourself it’s usually well worth the effort. Nice job

Removed factory air intake box last night and gave it a thorough cleaning inside and out. Replaced the paper air filter with a K&N drop in filter. Even if there are no HP gains, she has to breath easier.

Haha good to get under it and look around. As for saving money my dealer does a oil change, tire rotation, and tops off all the fluids for 49.00. I can't buy the oil and filter for less. O and will wash it too

Front Splitter adjustment rods finished had to extend those puppies from 8" to 12" done.
Then something came in yesterday and figured what the **** I see some improvements my way.. lol
