Last night I purchased my first REAL upgrade to my 2013 SHO. I got a Gearhead SCT livewire tuner kit. It should be coming in tomorrow looking forward to booting up the tune!

You have a link for this stuff?Just changed the oil and did the 5 out/in trans fluid thing.
While I had the car up and the shield offi thought I'd grab a pic of the exhaust insulating wrap I put on. It might not look good but a) the undershield hides it when in place and b) it controls the heat like I've never felt. I will probably not do the wrap ever again. BTW, I used the 1/2" heat shield stuff.

You know it! I bought the 1/2 stuff, but they have a lot of different offerings and options. You have a link for this stuff?
Awesome! Thanks so muchYou know it! I bought the 1/2 stuff, but they have a lot of different offerings and options.
You're actually not supposed to completely surround the pipe. You're only supposed to cover about 75%.
I ended up buying mine from Amazon.

I swear to you, other than the airbag deployment, my car looks just like this after hitting a guy who whipped a u turn in front of me yesterday.... absolutely sucks. No airbags went off at least. So today my SHO decided to challenge a deer.
Although the deer died, I’m not sure of the damage done to the SHO until the insurance adjuster tells me tomorrow morning.
I know those airbags hurt and the seatbelt tightens right up.
And in my passenger seat was 6 new spark plugs, an oil change and a new air filter.

That is a great idea!Check out this guy with the failed slide and sledge used this nut and bolt method
Not yet. I will call insurance today and get it sorted out.Sucks. At least the bags didn't pop. You got an estimator coming out today?

I hope so too. I wonder if they will even fix it if the estimate is anywhere near what yours was. Minus the bags of course.Sorry to hear that Billy VK. I’m going on two weeks in the repair shop, I hope yours is shorter.
