I have been having issues with the backup camera wiring and not working for the last year. I believe that water made it through the spoiler into the camera harness. I tried to clean off the years of build up to no avail. Today I clipped and striped the wires today. After a bit of work I was able to connect them all with wire crimps. The camera is now working perfectly. I didn't want to mess up after removing the harness so I put it off for too long. Worth the hour of work.

Make sure to tape those up well or you will have the same problem. I would have used solder connections, but that's just me.
