Backup Camera Unavailable

Recently after replacing the rear decklid that matched my cars color, I've gotten "backup camera unavailable contact your local Ford dealer" message on my dash at least 5-6 times but it's very random. Is it a loose connection somewhere or am I screwed and have to take it in? Otherwise car has been great. Im hoping im not getting into electrical issues already. Car only has 124k and it's a 2015.

check that wiring harness and camera connector. i havent removed my trunk, was there a harness in the replacement you reused? its possible a wire in your existing is messed up. bottom line, - no u dont have to take it to the dealer, using a windows laptop and forscan you can change its settings or at a minimum check its settings. did you replace the camera or repurpose your old one?

Replaced the camera with a different one. The whole trunk lid actually.
