You can't tell from the pics, but last weekend I installed the Gearhead intercooler. Also bought the sct st tuner to use their tune. The car gets p0402 and P0403 codes now. GH can't fix it because I'm using LMS's catted downpipes? Is there a fix for this? Don't tell me to buy another set of pipes.

Is it P0420/P430 or P0402/P0403? If it's the former, I'd suggest some spark plug no foulers for the 02 sensors and gut the cats. That trick worked on my old Mustang that kept fouling aftermarket cats. The CEL light would come on after about 6 months but I could clear it easily and pass inspections.

I've never experienced the latter codes but they appear to be related to the EGR solenoid.

I'm sure they are viable, proven is a different story. I don't know if anyone on here has those, haven't heard anything on them. I almost bought them off amazon awhile back instead of H&R's, but I got a deal on them and couldn't go anywhere else.

I've heard some negative things about the godspeed coilover quality. Not sure about just the springs. With big price differences it makes me scratch my head a little.

I certainly can’t argue that, however a company as renowned as H&R can apply an increase just for their name.

If its only 100 dollars difference then I'd stick to what everyone knows is best... that being said, i know diddly squat about performance suspension products lol

I believe it depends on the end goal. Just to drop the ass end a little without sacrificing stock ride then springs fit the bill.

Conversely, if you are looking for outright performance on the strip or a track, then a fully customizable coilover assembly is where it’s at.

Scheduled my appointment (finally) for my front suspension and will probably have them flush PTU/RDU.
Close to $1000 but it's necessary. After that, I tackle the Catalytic Converter and then get a tune. I want to get the tune before the cat but I'm not 100% sure if that will be desirable.

Tried dropping the downpipe to make PTU flush easier, destroyed both exhaust bolts. Stripped one but it came out, had to drill the other one out. Dealt with an exhaust leak for almost a week before I got around to it. Still need to do the PTU flush

If you have enough extensions, you can go at it from the front passenger tire. I never even removed the tire. I just stuffed a bunch microfibers in a hole in the rim to keep from scratching. They also helped hold the extensions in place... went under the car, lined it up, came back out, and gave it a few turns.

I don't have a fancy PP with a drain plug. Worked for my fill plug.

You're probably right but I was just using what I had available to me.

I wanted to start a thread for everyone to post those little or maybe even big things we do with our cars everyday. Could be something as small as "I washed my car today" or maybe something a little bigger like "here's a picture of my new tint" or maybe something even bigger like, "check out my new pair of turbo's".

It help keeps me excited about my car and sometimes it gives me some pretty good idea's!

I really enjoy reading and seeing pictures of those little things we all do to our rides, but I know sometimes we don't feel like taking the time to start a new thread/post.

Where are they manufactured?

Spring steels are not all made equal. American and German steel are best, won't fail, won't crack. Find out where the steel is sourced. If they're not open about it, assume the worst, and avoid. Springs are important, and not worth skimping on. They take constant beating, every mile.
