Im soon to install my R1 brakes ....glad I asked for their upgraded pads front and back. They sent me the ceramics that came with the kit still. Won't be using those. 15897112052146106895579609242119

Nice! I just ordered a set of black zinc coated drilled and slotted R1’s for the Edge. I’ll see how I like em. If I do they will probably be next in line for the SHO when the powerstops wear out their welcome... which shouldn’t be long.

The R1's are a smoking deal. I used their Eline rotors and ceramics for last 17k miles. Never a huge fan of the braking power but they worked! Looking forward to seeing if these new rotors and semi metallic pads give me more bite.

Yeah they had a 25% off Mother’s Day sale too. Got the rotors and pads at the way around for $250! Probably should have just popped for the SHO too but she’s already been getting some serious coin dropped on her lately.

I use Hawk semi metalics on the corvette, never tried the EBC. Might give them a shot, but I gotta say, the Hawks do a pretty stout job with my old car, which I autocrossed and had at Limerock or Watkins glen annually. They were a bit noisy, though.

Kicked two outside for a quick photo. Stuck the new SHO Club of America stickers on these two.

Did a mock up on the quad exhaust as well as the Mustang engine dress up kit ive had forever. Had to do some shaving but it looks good.

Have to paint the coolant cap since they discontinued black for some reason.

Lee which mustang engine dress up kit is that? And where did you get it??

This is the Spectre Performance kit, but any 11-14 Mustang V6 kit should be the same. The master cylinder and fuse box covers were incorrect dimensions for our cars. Trying to see if I can find something dimensionally closer.

@FiveLeeter918 is that outerwears filter cover linked from Ortiz that says bronco correct for the EPP filter?
Also, do you like it?

Yes sir it's what Mike recommended. I originally went against it but went through a torrential rain at 80 mph and got a nasty misfire which I assume was water molecules fouling spark. Added this and havent had an issue since.

Referring to the exhaust cut-outs I purchased, is it a dumb idea to delete the 3rd cat and install the cut-outs there? Essentially it'd be a full 3rd cat/resonator/muffler delete when it's open and just a 3rd cat delete when it's closed.

I'm concerned about heat in that location and if it's going to mess up my tune for such a dramatic air flow change.

The only other option I can come up with (keeping clearance in mind) is to put them right in front of the mufflers and have new exhaust hangers welded to the cutouts. I think there's enough room on the left side to tuck the motor away but the right side is going to stick out some and will probably be visible from behind the car.

Ordered custom 1inch hub centric wheel spacers the other week and had a nice day to install them. Im also on H&R lowering springs. For stock 2015 bore and flowerpowers. PM me if you want info on how to purchase them. Also had to cut lug studs down .100” or so.

Oil change and sparks. Thanks to Ortiz, I got in the new M-12405-35T plugs pre gapped at .026”. The old set set of 542’s had just under 18K on them and they looked pretty ugly. They started their service life at .028”. Bank one we’re all under .030” bank two were all .030” or just over. The most troubling were the front two, 1 and 4. The threads were all oily. Nothing on the porcelain and the wells were clean so it all came from underneath.

Installed my cut-outs yesterday. Now to see if I can link them to HomeLink.

EDIT - Homelink is programmed. Now I just wish it wasn't going to rain all week so I could actually play with my new toy.
