Hmmm, I've seen a few with a little over 200...beyond that, idkI wonder if any SHO has made it that far![]()
Replaced my dying red LED bulbs with fresh ones Friday night after work. By the time I got home one had nearly caught fire. Melted the bulb, the light assembly and the connector from the wire harness. Found these replacement fixtures: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DXT83MH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hzruCbVPGQHHK and decided to try them out after I got a replacement harness. If you're looking for a $20 upgrade, these license plate light replacement fixtures bring a **** of a lot of light for not a **** of a lot of dollars. They fit into the factory harness and are easy to change out. I'm going to adhere some red acrylic sheeting over them to go back to my all red rear lighting scheme but they are beautiful as they are.I have the red LEDs as well, I believe it was your car I saw that prompted me to get them originally. Lasted a few months and both are going bad already. Maybe I will try these.View attachment 8207 View attachment 8208 Replaced my dying red LED bulbs with fresh ones Friday night after work. Mine was either completed already or wasnt affected by the recall. I did check that after seeing the recall.Did you ever get your light housings replaced for free under the recall?
They did usually last 3 or 4 months per pair before needing to be replaced. The seller refunded my order for the last two pairs after reaching out to them about the issue I had. I ordered a 12"x12" sheet of red plastic from amazon that I'm going to cut to fit and adhere over the new lights to go back to the red color sceme back there.I have the red LEDs as well, I believe it was your car I saw that prompted me to get them originally. Not so much what I've done to my SHO, but rather FOR my SHO.
Since having moved into the new house just before Christmas, it's been a hectic 5 weeks or so remodeling and making the house "ours".
Finally got some time this weekend to get a few things accomplished in the new, 3.5 car, heated garage to help get organized and what not.
Relocated existing cabinets to the far wall by the SHO. Got the 'SHO' illuminated signage re-erected. Hung the old 55" LED TV on the wall, as we got new 4k UHD/QLED TV's for the house, a 65" for above the fireplace, and an 85" for the basement.
Then took the time to hang awards/plaques under the SHO signage, and re-purposed some existing shelving left behind in one of the kid's bedrooms, and hung them in the garage to, to place trophies atop same.
Balances out the back wall of the garage IMHO.
Finally, re-hung some beer memorabilia, and installed a hose reel that swings out from the wall for when I'm ready to start washing/detailing our fleet of cars. I do have to get a plumber over to install a new spigot, as the existing one has a broke anti-siphon connector.
But it's coming along. Next up is to finish painting the remaining 3 walls, and get a quote for having the floors professionally expoxy'd.

Very nice! Where did you get that SHO sign and the Ford Performance banner/flag?

The 'SHO' signage came off the front exterior of a closed down restaurant in the town where I work.
I made a bunch of phone calls, and had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get permission to do it, but when I saw the building had been bought out, and was under demo/renovations, I was permitted to get on site to take it down all by myself.
Luckily I got to it, before their lead demo company did, as they admitted they were just gonna use a fork lift and pry bar, and literally rip them off the building.
I had about a 3 day window, from when i saw work being done, to all the phone calls, then making time myself to get on site and get them for myself. All in the timing!
It was cold, and borderline rainy/snowy/icy, so it wasn't fun by any means, but I was motivated! Wife wasn't all to happy about me having plopped them on top of the dining room table, but she did admit that they were "very nice letters" and that she thought it was neat that they were/are black and white and match my SHO's theme.
I'll attach some pics, and the Ford Performance flag was gifted to me by Ford Motor Co. executives. I got 2 of them. One I use at car shows, the other I hung in the garage.
Very blessed and very appreciative.
