Nothing wrong with visiting Carlisle even if it is Mopar.....Believe it or not I first heard about Carlisle through Mopar when I had the Durango in 2009. With exception of 2012 for a family event I have been every year since then.

Yes, Tech, I seem to recall both a email address and text message# were requested.

I'm going to see how it works and adjust sensitivity as we go. So far, I think it's a great thing...glad I got it installed.

Now...what to do next. I'm thinking...rear roof spoiler...

You have to enter the phone number yourself in the app. It’s under alert recipients on the settings page. Even if your profile on the remote access site has your info, it won’t work unless you put it there.

I've only missed one Chrysler show at Carlisle and that was because the AACA Grand National Meet was on the same weekend and our '72 Scamp was going for Senior. (Which...she got!)

I used to take a car for show...but anymore...it's much better to go as a spectator..

What did I do "with" my SHO this weekend? Well, we took it to the Chrysler Show at Carlisle. I don't bother taking a car to the show anymore...but we like to go and visit. Worthless side story, I catch up each year with the couple that bought my '69 Road Runner convertible back in 1997. Spend two days there and drove back. Now the needs a bath.

I filled the tank prior to getting on the TP to come home and was surprised that it was showing around (don't recall exactly) 27MPG. Nothing wrong with that!

I was there as well.. Brought down my 1969 1/2 road runner.. Had a good time was a little warm put stayed hydrated with a bunch of cold ones..

All you have to do is take the knee panel under the steering column off. The security module just needs to be solidly mounted to something so the shock sensor works. I just cable tied it to the horizontal dash bracket at the bottom. I velcroed the RMU as high as I could get it on one of the dash support tubes on the far left. Make sure when you install the T harness you cable tie it clear of the moving steering column and the steering shaft. Finally, do not install the included jumper. That disables the alarm functions. The dealer I bought mine from was adamant I install that jumper, too. I figured it out by trial and error when the alarm functions wouldn’t work. I think there are maybe 3 people at dealers in the country that know anything about these. Lol

I was out in Carlisle with the car last weekend, wishing the Remote Access was already installed. I will admit...the wife wanted to stop at a Marshalls along our travels on Friday night...and when we approached the glass store front, I was flipping the turning signals on and off just to see the DriveBrights work...

Off topic...but I only got a few detail oriented things at Carlisle....my wife bought a purse. I was hoping to find a reasonably priced '68 or '69 Barracuda...

It works both ways. I’ve spent a bunch of money stealing ideas off other forum members, too. I gave my paypal credit account a workout and ordered a bunch of stereo equipment that’s sitting in the garage after reading a sub install thread here, and now I’m thinking about the Drive Brights after reading about your install. Today I assembled the two promotional banners I received this week.

I'll use these for any/all upcoming show events and incorporate them into my display.... I'll likely position them on either side of my 4'x8' mod display banner.

Has taken me two long years to finally track these down. Patience and persistence is an understatement.

Also, I finally sourced the official application for the Ford National's "Ford Select" and have completed it, in it's entirety today.

This application applies for the 2019 Nat's held in Carlisle, Pa.

IF APPROVED, this would be an invitation extended by event staff and Ford Motor Company reps as I understand it, and allows said invitee to display in a specially designated area, centrally located within the fairgrounds, covered from the elements, etc.

The invitee also receives a permanently assigned number that is placed within the archives/records and additionally, the individual owner receives a specially produced banner that represents the permanent number designated accordingly.

I really like that look I wasn't going to paint the calibers red since they don't look like brembos but I do really like that two tone look

I've had the calipers painted blue for a few years now which now they need touching back up. I wasn't sure about the blue with yellow pads but was going to at least give it a try and see if it will stay. Red is so common on calipers, I always try to do something different and was thinking if I ever dress the motor up with say blue hot pipes i'd be keeping a theme

Sorry guys, I didn't take a pic...but washed the SHO yesterday. Perhaps this is where I add that my wife has nicknamed the car, Beastie. Well, Beastie 2. (Excursion is Beastie)

It had been awhile since I washed it, and it has been to Carlisle and back...and a trip to the NJ shore in all the rain on Saturday night. Plus, all my local driving.

My OCD meant I had to wash it, but except for the tires looking dirty and undressed, the car was surprisingly clean looking. I hit it with the foam gun and gave it a quick wash. It looked like it was going to rain, so I didn't take the time to blow it off before drying and follow up with Aquawax.

I coated the entire car except the glass with DuraGloss Enviro-Shield. It's supposed to last two years and I even did the black plastic cladding. I suppose this post is to say that the Enviro-Shield at 7 months is still going strong.
