Aeroforce Interceptor gauges installed, angled towards the driver. I think I have a bad main cable though , car was throwing codes and wouldn't start with the OBD cable plugged in. Once I moved the cable around it was ok.

Finally got around to ordering some new brakes! Ended up ordering some EBC rotors because they were 20% off on Autoanything.
For pads, I went with the PP pads from Rockauto. Ended up being 272$ total

So it turns out I did have a bad main splitter cable from Aeroforce. My dash would flash and throw AWD codes, check engine light would stay on, climate controls would start and stop and car wouldn't start. I emailed Aeroforce and they sent me a new cable, got it in 2 days . Installed the new cable today and everything is right as rain. Kudos to Aeroforce for the customer service

My yard is only 1 acre. 30 min job. They are only required to drywall the part of the wall that touches the house with 5/8". Is cheaper for me to finish it myself. Epoxy floor, insulation and a furnace. Want to keep my SHO comfy in the winter.

Still a little work to do. I was taking high level post Sony amp into a DSP prior to the DSR1. I was hoping to lower the noise floor and get the sync/navi voice to not be so loud. Sync sounds are now a reasonable volume and the volume control is more linear but I feel like I have more noise when turned up and have a slight alternator whine I didn't have before. The whine may be because I'm still using the Helix DSP as well and will try grounding them both at the same point and see if that helps. It does sound better than before but I really can't say if it's the DSR1 or the extra tuning my installER did.

I will say the setup and install was easy with the maestro harness.

Good to know. I originally was going DSR1 for my Focus ST, since the premium sound in that is worse than the SHO. From the setups I have seen so far, DSPs and LOCs were removed from the ST systems and use only the DSR1 to an amp. At least that's the route I'm going initially.

The DSR1 isn't as capable as some other DSPs but so far it seems to work(the RF 360.3 has had software issues since it came out). It's probably enough for 95% of what people will need and at a great price point. They are supposedly going to support the 2010-12 Taurus going forward as well.

Weather has been getting cooler here in CHI-Town at night (like mid 40's, lower 50's) and desiring to pick on some lowly Porsche, Corvette, Charger SRT owners, etc.....

What I did to my SHO today was run it down to almost "E" / Empty, and then dumped 10 gallons of MS109 into the SHO's tank and uploaded the custom LOWER 525awhp track file from LMS.

I want to see them cry at the next light knowing they purchased what they did, and got eaten alive by a LARGE 4 door grocery getter.

Time to play.
