Between priming and test driving I went through quite a bit already.... ha!

Replaced spark plugs today w SP534 at .030. Plugs that were pulled were at ~.036. My first go at changing spark plugs. Used the How-To from EBPF. I would recommend a magnetic plug socket as it took me a few extra minutes to fish out the plugs from the rear. Used anti-sieze but skipped the dielectric.

Is there anything I should look/listen for to make sure everything is seated correctly? Used a torque wrench at about 12ft/lbs to snug.

Took back to stock tune, going to dealer in morning for routine checkup as bumper to bumper gets nearer @ 28k right now. Anything I should have them check, getting ptu fluid changed as a precaution.

Took it out for a wash and came back and gave a it a Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnauba Cleaner Wax Paste Shine

Finally found 100% Methanol within a reasonable drive.... so there for I felt compelled to ordered the LMS Alky Kit.... let the meth fun begin....

How does one go about seeking out a meth dealer?! Seriously, I'm real close to pulling the trigger also but have no clue where to buy "the stuff!" I know you can make your own with De-icer washer fluid and 2 cans of Heet! Not kidding at all! A friend owns a performance shop and has done this numerous times even with high-end performance vehicles with owner's permission of course and never an issue! Might go down that path if I have to!

Honestly I just called all the Performance shops I could find... and if they said no, then I would ask if they knew anyone who might? Then rinse and repeat... funny thing is the place I found it I knew about... just didn't think they sold it...

The guys I got it from said they sell it by the barrel load to the go kart competition drivers...

+1 on the go kart drivers. I went to my local speed/performance shop and they sell it by the gallon. I simply bring in any container and they fill it up and charge based off how much I get.

I would look around local at local drag strips, dirt tracks, go kart tracks, and speed/performance shops.

Turbos and PTU are at the top of the list.....

Per dealer it's water cooled and a bitch to do. Have to remove cat to get to the tempature sensor (fill plug). It has a drain plug. It's on record as wanting to change fluid so if anything happens he's going to hang it no questions asked. Turbos and everything else looked good.
Added the PiD code to tourqe pro so I can monitor temp on the ptu.

Exterior detail, clay bar only on the roof, hood trunk lid, wax (body was fine from last year), spray wax then detail/spray sealer, wheels, tires etc. (Notice the Giant Uniroyal® tire in the back)

Judgment is still out.. LMS sent me a revised Alky tune... basically same boost/spark as the 4+X but less throttle control... I asked for more....we will see what they respond with...

It's a good all weather tune.... I wouldn't call it a balls out race tune though...

This Alky kit is quite impressive... the progressive controller is HIGHLY tune able.... Julio is awesome to talk with... if you had a tuner that was willing to go balls out with it... you could get into the 11's on a race tune with 100% meth... without the motor or turbos... but that MY opinion...

BTW... are those wheels powder coated or plasti dipped? Looks good.
