Took the SHO to go look at a Chevy SS at a dealership down the street...I didn't even bother test driving.... SS had a tune, mild CAM, full length headers, full Corsa exhaust, no cats, aftermarket staggered wheels... sounded like a legit stock car... had a dyno sheet in the passenger seat.. 450HP and 520tq.... way to freaking loud...

Tax money is burning a hole in my pocket! Looking to do some upgrades to my car, I want new brakes, the power stop rotors are terrible, and warped!

I'm also looking to get an intake and some other goodies. I know the K&N doesn't give me any more performance, but I heard it will allow me to hear the turbos more, which is what I'm looking for.

Is this EBC kit a good deal, and decent?
Edit: I can get the same kit, but with red stuff pads for 299$ Worth the difference?

Matter of opinion we have one with same exhaust set up I loved it but the trunk is to small and no awd but full size spare much roomier feeling inside

Wish we could use a full size spare in that tiny hole. Keep my filter and oils In there with assorted tools and cleaners

Absolutely matter of opinion. FWIW I did go back and test drive it to see if I could live with the exhaust... or even switch it out later. Honestly.. since it was an automatic I didn't think it was worth trading the SHO in on... if it had been a manual... maybe different story...

I got the Sho because it's a fast roomy awd car my wife can drive
I went to test drive the ss I really enjoyed it but the Audi A4 that I drove would of been better as it was a quatro but a manual also and if I were to switch cars I'd be going way backwards with payments

Found out its going to cost $6xx.xx to repair my front bumper.

Some ****** in a twapped out Silverado with the driving skills of a potato, kicked up an ass whooping of rocks that made light work of my front bumper.

What really ****** me off is not only do I rarely drive it (2016 with 4,ooo miles), but also that it makes me grit my teeth for people with questionable insurance.

My insurance agent is above great, a good personal friend and takes care of all her customers. Now, because of my policy and coverage, it was basically as simple as this.

1. Go to office
2. Mention issue
3. Show damage to agent
4. Get estimate
5. Schedule appointment
6. Pick up check

Granted it will only be down for a day, maybe two and HOPEFULLY be unnoticeable...its still the point of it. Because of someone else's negligence, it causes me an issue such as this.

Aside from that, I didn't really do anything to/with/for my SHO today.

Appropriate use of the term ******... Chevy guys generally fit that description... sorry to hear about your luck however.

She will be back good as new shortly.

It is, what it is...

My only fear is, I'm a stickler when it comes to a car's finish. Being black, I'm already guessing ahead of time that I'll go round and round with the body shop.

Meh...
