Had a free weekend to finally install the GTG grill and install the LED running/turn lights just in time for the rain. (Thanks again Jason for putting up with all my stupid questions about the grill install, pretty much self explanatory once you pull the bumper cover off, and par for the course I read way too much into it)

I know what I like when I see it, and copy it. Catch can and lip spoiler are next on the list ( ;

Let me know before you install the lip spoiler. I have noticed a crack in mine right in front of the drivers front wheel. Most likely caused from stress. I'm going to add a gusset on both sides reinforced with fiberglass on the inside of the spoiler. The crack is not visible from the outside, but bothers me that some strength is missing. Something you should consider before your install.

You're a machinist, I'm sure you can fab all kinds of stuff up!

Are the running lights a kit?

Yes, it's a kit from a company called Daytime Brightlites. Pretty cool and very bright with the ability to work as a turn signal and the choice to wire them to dim down when your headlights are on. Uses Battery positive, ground, and a wire to ignition "on" input at the fuses box. A weather packed connector to each of the new lights. If you want them to toggle to turn signals (amber), each side has a control wire that taps into the OEM front turn signal wires. If you want them to dim when the headlights come on, there's one last wire that you connect to the left headlamp circuit. Looks to be a really nice set up, I'm having a bit of a problem with the turn signals strobing for the first few minutes of run time but I think it may be due to my car initially charging at 14.5v for the first few minutes that I have a thread going on.

Washed the SHO and upon going for a drive, ended up next to what looked like a 2013-2015 Audi S4, we looked at each other and it was on! Sadly he pulled 2-3 car lengths on me, but I did catch up to him from about 50mph... all this was ok the streets of mexico!

I thought I'd be able to keep up with an S4 with an LMS 91 tune :(

He probably had a tune also.

The 2014s came with a v8 0-60 4.3 seconds and then add a tune...

Even without a tune I would imagine a 4.3 second stock 0-60 would take a tuned SHO.

Negative good sir... I run anywhere from 4.0 to 4.3 tuned. And there are several others in the same range.

So you're running at 91 octane LMS tune? Not running a intake and full turbo back exhaust?

If put in those parameters, you are probably correct, a 91 octane tune only SHO would probably loose to a stock S4.

Let me just start by saying I love my SHO, and the faces of people that get beat by us and have no idea what just happened. After 8 months I just finished everything I can do to my SHO without tearing apart the motor. Completed MODS: MDesign carbon fiber cold air intake, Low temp thermostat, 3 bar MAP senor, NGK 1 degree cooler spark plugs, PPE Hot pipes with Tial BOV, PPE catless downpipes, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and Torrie tune from Unleashed. And Mario from Virginia Speed did a great job putting all this together for me. In March I will be heading to MIR Raceways to see what I do in a quarter mile and how I stack up on the drag strip.
