Thanks for the tip Raging Bull. Here's the pic again.

I measured the new center caps prior to putting them on, and ordered an extra to work with, too. A friend has a set of Ford caps he think may fit, so we'll try that as well. The caps from the original wheels are much too small to fit the new wheels. The new wheel's center caps are 2 15/16 wide at the face.

Wheels look nice ! Simple n clean. That blue metallic is so nice. Wanted mine that color could not find the right one though !

The "Max-Lift" engine hood, and trunk lid props from MONROE arrived today.

Installed them and all good to go once again.

The 901880's are for the front hood.
The 900149's are for the trunk lid.

Cost me a hundo for all 4, with shipping.

Not too shabby.

mike-thanks for info. my front gave out last year but rear still working, but now know what to get when they go, just a matter of time when it stays open 7 hours at a time during shows.

My pleasure. Thus why I posted the info so that all can have it handy. Considering that a lot of our GEN4 SHO's are getting up there, you are correct, just a matter of time.

On a side note, you have no idea how long I tried (and was unsuccessful) in trying to source the "Ford Performance" engraved one's.

Literally, a tick over 4hrs total on the phone, with nearly a 1/2 dozen vendors, then finally Ford Racing Performance tech division only to verify that they do not mfg'er any for our platform.

Compressed length is 12". Extended length is 20".

They have NONE that even remotely close.

Oh well. Is what it is.

Got my noise maker delete pipe installed with meth bung gonna log tomorrow to see if there was an improvement in atomization and cooling. The powder coating was too notch, thanks EPP.

I did my noise maker delete over the weekend using the part from an MKS.

Tonight? Well, my package from DriveBright arrived...so I put the puddle lights and license plate LEDs in. I can't believe how much brighter these puddle lights are compared with the stock pieces. Worthless bit of info....I found it easier to slip a plastic interior trim tool between the mirror glass and mirror body to release the rear tap.

Next up, the DRL kit. I need to study this to see the best placed for the controller box. etc...(tips appreciated)

Just on my way to work, and a black 2010-2012 SHO pulled up next to me on the 528 toll heading towards Orlando international airport, whoever you are, sweet ride with a great sounding exhaust!
Tried to pull away from him but he was stuck on my bumper, so definitely tuned!

they would have been real neat. what i did was on ebay they had some colored wraps. i got the red w/ black stripes to match my theme. cheap but better than just plain. no pic of course, but could do one for you. the thing that i really like & can't remember where a guy was doing the battery holder in aluminum block but 1st ones said ecobeast, not my thing but then he had some made that said sho for only $40 or $50. took a while but looks great, once again no pics to busy modding the chally & adding minor changes to sho, got to keep her in stock classes at shows, wink,wink!!!! stay safe my friend, your job is so important but so dangerous.

I was able to figure it out...…..so can't be that difficult.

Believe it or not yes. Watch the connectors though they use a very low gauge wire I am thinking 18-22. The OEM connectors have slide on male/female connectors but the wiring itself is kind of weak.

Like other have said grab a medium length and medium thickness flat head screwdriver. Come in from the glass side and slowly insert the screwdriver on the locking tab. It might take a few tries but you need to push forward to release the tab and slightly down pretty much at the same time. When you get enough to grab the base from the bottom slowly release down and out. Remember the forward tab but that is more of a guide reference tab. Transfer the connectors over and re install. If you have either a dark garage or maybe a dark colored piece of paper or carpet to test. Grab door handle just a slight tug you don't have to totally open the door just enough for the puddle/flood lamps to come on. Mine took about 10-15 minutes for both again took a few tries to get the locking tab loosened.

I will send you some photos or a quick video in a little while.

FWIW, when Idid the puddle lights, I used one of those flat interior trim pry tools between the glass and the mirror housing for the rear clip.

For the most part he is fine. I wipe down the leather every few days using the Meguiar's gel based leather cleaner/conditioner
