It started after I opened the window (0C-32F outside). I'm taking bets on which direction is going to take... if it splits, we'll have a race !

Nah, The fastest way to grow your crack is to navigate a nice steep driveway approach at a 45 degree angle.

I can confirm this to be true, it happened last year after a chip on the freeway, I had to find a Ford dealership that could calibrate the ACC for it after they finished replacing the windshield.

Luckily @GotGrip? pointed me in the right direction!

ACC? Adaptive Cruise Control? Mine doesn't have that, just the rain sensing wipers.

Correct, it makes it a little more tricky when you get a new windshield, because it has to be calibrated.

Not exactly today but over the last few weeks, I have got all the parts from my White '15 transferred to my Red '15. I have also picked up an SCT X4 and a GH tune. Started messing with FMods to further modify my Sync3. They have a method that does not require disassembling the APIM any more. After running a couple tanks through, I plan to datalog and get in touch with GH. Have a couple questions and requests. It honestly doesn't feel much different. Not as noticeable as I had hoped. They said that datalog is not needed but, I am hoping for more of a custom tune than a can tune.

So after getting my tune installed, I started having issues with the car breaking up at about 45-65 under heavy load. Occasionally, it would do it from a 20 roll if I laid into it. I have MSD coils and they are 13 months old. This is about where I have heard of people having trouble with them. I had a P0303, P0300, and P0316 code. I have not changed plugs since I got the car so, I had no idea the condition of them. Today, I pulled all of the coils and plugs. Being lazy, I started on the front then moved to the back (in 1, 2, 3 order). Why I have no idea because 3 was obviously the problem cylinder. Plugs didn't look terrible so, I cleaned them up and gapped them to 0.026. Last plug I did (#3) I pulled out and held it up to look, it looked pretty good. I flipped it pointing down as I went to grab my gapper. I heard/felt a *tink*. So I looked at it again. Pointing up it looks fine. Pointing down the center ceramic isolator is broken and it slides down to make contact with the ground electrode completely shielding the gap. So either my spark was occurring way deep in the plug or inside this new ceramic shield. Unfortunately, I am on duty and only have Napa, Autozone, and Advance close enough to use. They had limited selection so I went with NGK 6510. I pulled all the plugs again, gapped the new ones to 0.026 and reinstalled them. I also swapped #2 and #3 coil just in case I had 2 issues. I cannot wait for the drive home in the AM to see how the car feels on all 6 cylinders!

Found out why I was smoking and burning oil on cold starts. I’m lucky I caught it when I did before my can burst.B01E8586 0D6E 4FDB ACF1 4788610A1C29
I may have to go back to the factory PCV system in the winter. I can’t keep up with the amount of condensation the catch can collects on warm up’s. I drove maybe fifteen times tops since I last emptied it.

Were you visited by the big bad wolf?
I had some Russians stopping by to ask directions, they said they weren't here to cause any trouble.
Seriously though. A big chunk of a maple tree in the backyard fell on it a couple months ago and damaged the framework of the barn. The snow built up on the roof and caused it to collapse flat. LOL we had already pretty much empty it out already because of the tree limb. The debris stopped two feet short of my m k s.

Here's what I did over the last few weeks... I am 4 weeks into the ownership of a 2015 FPIS 3.5L EB and I'm enjoying it ALOT! I drove it home from the dealer which was a 770 mile getting aquainted drive. It went really well and got 22.6 mpg and was tight, no complaints. Then last weekend I installed the Gearhead powerpack, which has their Ford 1 range colder plugs that came pregapped to 0.026, 170 Thermostat. I also installed some MSD coils. I also installed a K&N drop in air filter. I got the tune on Monday afternoon and then installed it and the 3 bar MAP and drove it about 550 miles. I really love it! Smooth power, awesome firm shifts and it seems to know exaclty what gear to shift too when I stomp on it. It's interesting since the car has no sport mode, that it's supossed to sense when it is needed and is applied due to the police transmision strategy.
Anyway 2 days ago I used Forscan to turn off Dark mode, activate DRL lights, activate the AWD gage (the car seems to keep alot of rear wheel bias, that's another post), activate the parking lights when locking and unlocking with keyfob (mine came with that option).
Next thing I'll do is activate the remote start (waiting for the keyfob, and my car already has the hood switch) and activate the auto headlamps,(waiting for the new headlight switch).
I also need to find a trunk mat, since the plastic floor covering is like ice and anything in the trunk slides around. I also want to buy vent shades. Can anyone give me recommendation on the mat and vent shades?
Thanks
Richard
