It's going to come down to the foundation of the paint for you to get that "glassy" look and judging from the pictures, you could use a good polish. If you don't want perfection, a good AIO is Blackfire One Step and it produces really good results. You need the paint looking "wet" first and then a good LSP will help enhance/preserve it.
Today I had one of my old subwoofers installed. It’s an Alpine SWR-12D4. I used to have two installed in my last car but quite frankly it was overkill. A single 12 in a ported box added the bass I was looking for, just enough but not overkill. The mids and highs seem alright with the Sony system but if I upgraded anything else it would be the mids.

Yes a line out converter was used to tap into the signal. Unless if you already have an aftermarket radio then you typically have to use one to take it from the factory signal. I’m not sure where they tapped it from but the last time I installed it myself I tapped into one of the wires on the door speakers. I don’t remember which wire it was exactly as I did it years ago but that’s where I got the signal from

Gave it a quick wash today. Starting to see some rust on the calipers so now I’m thinking about getting the rust off and painting them blue. My gf wants me to do red but I want to hear your guys thoughts too.
