G what's wrong with this picture. The shop started working on my engine this week . I'm so effing tired of buying parts turns out they're not the right parts Or should I say engine.

That's the latest/updated water pump. Now you just need the corect timing chain and phasers/vcts.

The new chain is not as likely to stretch like the roller that's in it now. That can cause problems down the road anyway. The new chain is multi link.

So spent some time with a torch, pipe wrench, sledge hammer.....to no success. The ABS sensor also not wanting to budge. Well if I need to take the knuckle off it'll need to come out....RIP ABS sensor now....after a bunch of time prying it all around ...the plastic broke where the bolt goes....then the wirea actually broke....that ABS sensor is also frozen inside ...I just don't get it.

Mind you, I've replaced my front struts and had no problem removing the ABS sensors out of both front knuckles....

So NOW my question is...can I drill the ABS sensor out and save the knuckle? There's a chance I can still free the hub/bearing trying the bolt method...but either way I'll need to drill out this stuck ABS sensor....or buy a new knuckle??View attachment 14839

Wow....i would've bought the new knuckle months ago. I learned my lesson on foreign cars. Aluminum and magnesium and steel.....corrosion nightmares.
I value my time so I will never again spend hours trying to do something that can be replaced for much cheaper.

I just finished installing my gearhead tune! The gearhead team helped me step-by-step installing the tune to my tuning device and vehicle. The power change is night and day!

So, what prompted you to replace this in the first place? Was there slop, or noise?

Noise, sort of sounded like caliper, but removed and checked it looked fine, reinstalled same noise. So replacing the wheel bearing.

Sort of. I split to work commute between the SHO and my truck...and I'm probably not going to drive it much at all in the winter. I've had it for around...3 months...maybe 4, now? In that time, I've put a little over 2,000 miles on the clock.
