So I was washing my car, and I had left the radio on. When I was done, I got in the car, and went to pull her into the garage. It took a few tries before it finally started up with about 3 too many revolutions. After I got it in the garage, it refused to start again, I checked the battery, and figured it was dead. I got a new one, replaced it, and in the process I found that she needed new terminals. Removing the terminals showed a very nice corroded positive cable. Anyway, I tried to reconnect it with the current cabel, and it still wont start up, I'm not sure what the problem is, I plan on replacing that positive cable, but what if it still wont start? :( I'm a little worried.. Thanks ahead of time!

This is like the problem I've been having. CHECK YOUR STARTER...mine was drawing way too much amperage because it was broken (but still worked for a while) and made it seem like a power problem.

The starter is directly below the oil filter. It is very easy to get to, get on the ground and crawl a little past the radiator and look up, it should be right there.

Follow your ground cable to the engine block and make sure you have a good ground. Most auto parts store will test your starter for a small fee, or some will do it for free. Have the starter tested before you replace it. Your problem could be the solenoid, which activates the starter.

Whatever you replace, take the time to clean your electrical connections. rangerj
