Looking real good! As soon as I can take one for a test drive, consider it done.

I can't wait for the new SHO to hit the streets - and once again cause a lot of uneasiness amongst the Mustang crowd! :burnout:

Doing the AWD models in the windy mountain roads there cobrakidd03 is where its at brother!! The FWD models are not so great I can tell ya all about that. :nut:Well guys, the SHO did not disappoint. Of course I stepped into a base model SHO with no special amenities, but my friend had a decked out one and another SHO guy there had the track packaged one. And the media folks before me that had it went off road with it, muddied up the passenger side and f-ed up the front rim!!!! They had no other rim to toss on there so that car was set off to the side and not to be reused they said. The SHO was much faster than the AWD Limited. Guess I'm going to be marching down to Ford and see about getting one once I sell some of my others SHOs. Of course folks will bicker about the SHO in some way shape or form but I am pleased with it and I'm sure anyone else who has been waiting for a nice car to leave the Ford lot with, this is the one. It may not be the fastest out there, but Ford has done a great job (I feel anyway) with the new SHO. And it surpasses all the other Generations I feel too. Lets see what Sam has to say about it once he hits home. :swing:

The SHO was much faster than the AWD Limited. Yes I know that the SHO is much faster then the limited. SHO=turbos Limited=none

Driving the 2010 SHO

So this is Ashley stealing the computer from Sam (GB to all the guys from Carlisle...wish you could've been driving with us today). We drove both the regular 2010 Taurus and the new SHO. My personal opinion-- the Taurus is awesome. The SHO kicks ass- unless you're stuck behind Sam...this whole grocery getter Taurus reputation has gotten to him.

We only drove the SHOs for about 20 miles or so but...here are a few things:

1) Most responsive paddle-shifties (yes shifties...on most cars they're not trustworthy) EVER
2) If you're going to go 100, follow someone with a radar detector...purely hypothetical advice there...:angelnot:
3) Rain sucks, but if the normal Taurus was any indication these cars stay nice and planted. One of the reviews (test drivers) apparently has a problem with the handling...I did not.
4) Awesome trunk space- next year at Carlisle we're locking James in a 2010 trunk so he can stretch out and no one else suffers.
5) Aftereffects = don't see the corners as a challenge, the speed limit is 20 mph!

Here are a few pics of the Taurus/SHO. It was either rainy or really bright so don't expect magazine worthy shots.
