Yesterday (sat 4th) my wife and I were driving our kids to separate activities, she in my silver 98 SHO, and me in a red BMW 535, and as we were getting onto the 210 freeway in the LaCrescenta/LaCanada area, we were merged right next to a pair of what looked to be heavily modded Gen3's. One Black, one Silver, both had dark tinted windows and tinted tail light covers, and both sounded mean as ****. I got a better look at the black one as I passed it, and noticed the Ford emblems were blacked out front and back. The black car had big 5 point star rims, and appeared to be lowered. I also noticed little emblems under the V8 badge on the side of both cars that I couldn't quite make out (looked like a **** leaf).
Anyway, if anyone knows these cars, speak-up, I'd love to know where they had their work done. Or for that matter, any recommendations in SoCal. I'm not a do-it yourselfer by any means, and although my father had his 95 worked on by the SHOshop in Newport Beach back when the original owner was still there, I wasn't impressed by the guy running it now, so I'm always keeping my eyes out for qualified SHO people in the LA area. I had to go up north 6 hours just to get the cams welded.
It was quite a sight to look over to the next lane and see these two hotted up SHO's and our bone stock SHO all in a convoy blasting down the freeway.
Thanks,
MT

his old borla is on Nate's SHO. Nate's is pretty much stock except for the borla exhaust, Eibach springs, and tinted windows/lights. Both cars had their cams welded and full 60K type maintenance done by John.
What does he do with the Duratec?
