Has anyone installed a smaller than stock aftermarket steering wheel, such as MOMO or Sparco in their SHO.

If so how well do the adaptor kits fit?

There isn't an adapter made for the SHO. The only one there is, is the one that Kurt Edelbach had made up. You had to send him your wheel and he would have the hub of it made into an adapter. He's in Germany now though, so I don't know if he's still doing that. FWIW, I drove his 89 with a 4 spoke MOMO wheel in it. It felt really nice. There might be someone on here that has purchased a mount from Kurt.

That's what I thought. I have an extra stock steering wheel so I will be looking at making an adapter to fit one of these wheels using the stock hub.
The SHO steering column has such a large footprint that most adapters will probably look out of place.

I think I might have seen his adapter on Shotimes.
It was a sheet steel cut out and welded to the stock hub.

I have an OMP 13.8" dished steering wheel from a Ferarri F360 Challenge car on my 89. It uses a std Momo pattern and Kurt E. in NJ made the mound and shroud for me. Uses the hub from a stock wheel. It's a nice mount, and a great wheel. One of my most favorite things about the car.

I can email you the pics Jose. Sometime back I posted a pic of it here on the forum, dunno where it is.

here's a pic from last year:
