not sure, i suppose this may be normal, but it seems way to slow. although i have never driven another mtx sho, so i cant be sure. but when im driving my car normally, shifting is kinda a pain. i purposely have to shift slow. the revs dont drop fast enough even just for normal shifting. at the end of a gear, ill completely let off gas, clutch in, shift into next gear. but but the time im actually moving the shifter, the revs just start to drop, so i have to then wait to slowly release the clutch. or ill just shift super super slow to avoid the clutch slippage. it also doest rev so snappy when just in neutral. its not really an issue, but just thought that it could be related. im much more aggrevated by the down reving. its like i have a 50lbs flywheel in there :(

The engine will not idle down to the proper 950-1000 until you are at a complete stop. It will stay around 1200 until you stop. Is that what you are feeling? What RPM does it stay at, can you give some more information.

it simply stays at whatever rpms it is currently at when i let off gas. i let off the gas to shift, but the revs just stay put for a second, then they slowly drop. like i said, imagine a 50lbs flywheel in your sho.
