That is the ACT (air charge tempterture)

The one that runs too the FPR(round thing on fuel rail) and the front manifold I guess.

So I take the line from the manifold to the FPR off, plug the lines from the box into that spot on the manifold and on the FPR, like the box is a part of the original line, essentially.

Here's what I did tonight. Modified the air box, got the switch half wired and started to mock it into place. My plan is to have a VERY hidden kit by the time I'm done. I may have to put some of my interior back in to keep appearances up.

I'm learning as I go, using basic hand tools, haha.

i dunno how well thats gonna work. i mean thats kinda getting in the way of your intake.

you can mount it in the corner, the opposite corner of the eec test plug. smart thing would be to put it there and make a cover for it.

maybe even behind the firewall cover.

There is plenty of room beneath the panel filter. It has been done before. If it doesn't work then, i'll move it...maybe mount it above the radiator and use the cover to cover it also...

thats a good idea behind the rad. cover. only problem is it would need a bracket like the ccrm's

If the airbox doesn't work I'm sure that I can use a Lowes' bracket and a hammer to fab something up.

that NMU is going to take up quite a bit of space in the air box,if you can get it to fit.
ive flirted with the idea myself but i was concerned about possible restriction of airflow.

keep in mind that you want the line going from the NMU to the intake to be as short as possible.
mounting the NMU with the CCRM and keeping the line hidden would require a much longer line.

Jesus people...these cars are atleast 13 years old (this section permitting). Who cares were the NMU is mounted. Mount it to the firewall, you will never see it. Even with my SC car, no one wanted to see under the hood...it was a grandma car to them. If he wants to mount it inside the transmission, who cares...that is his choice, stealth look or not.

I respectfully disagree, Sir. The longer the nitrous line, the softer the hit. A hard hit is not too good the expensive parts on these cars. Make the nitrous line longer and you'll get a softer application of power.

Tomorrow I will finish wiring and plumbing the NMU and hopefully get the bottle mounted in the trunk.

Ditto...

Another thing to consider... the length of the nitrous line from the solenoid(or box for Zex users) to the intake tube has an effect on the "hit". You get a smoother transition with a longer line, and a more of a jolt with a shorter line.

Well guys, I am really frustrated right now woth trying to get all my suspension parts together. I finally broke down and I am taking them to a machine shop tomorrow to get them put together for me. Then I will go home and try to get the rear sitting on rubber again. I bought the wrong ID of vacuum lines for the NMU so I'll be exchanging them tomorrow also. After all that I am going to look at a 1995 SHO for sale. Hopefully I will get further tomorrow night on the N20 but it will probably be Sunday before I can make any real headway. I am so tired right now it's not even funny. Going for well over 10 hours a day and getting less than 8 hrs of sleep will catch up to you.
