Yes, the basic narrowband will tell you if something is wrong. Just don't hope to hit the exact a/f ratio on the head with it. But it does give you a general idea where the a/f is at.

That's exactly why I have mine. Allthough, I do have a WB on the way.

Change your rod bearings ASAP!!!!!!! Trust me on this one.... I had a nitrous backfire per se, smashed a rod bearing. But it did not show itself for a few weeks.... I wasn't running the car when this happenend, it was at start up.

That was directed mainly at baysho, towards the nitrous backfire.... but yes changing the rod bearings is always a good id ea.

Would a regular AFR guage work ok? I don't have plans of any other F/I... on this car...so I could just watch that, if it goes lean shut the N20 off, right?
Right now I'm feeling that a 155lph is just relatively cheap insurance.
