I would be afraid of cam issue but let's look at other possibilities.
Is this at idle or all through the rpm range? While driving under load? First order of operations is to check the codes. See what pops up and record them. After that I would erase them and drive a while and pull them again. Vacuum leak somewhere? If you can locate a miss at a specific cylinder (if it only occurring in one ) that would help narrow things down

It keeps coming up with that I miss on cylinder 2 but it's not all the time that's why I'm confused I know the computer works in a loop I'm thinking maybe even a computer problem

If I remember the 1-4 are along the back. yuk. so you will have to maybe pull the surge tank to get at it. It's been alot of years since my v8 so I forget if you can contort enough to reach a cylinder or two without doing that. Probably not.

Check the spark plug on #2 and see what it looks like. Then swap the coil from #2 with one from the front and see if the miss follows the coil. In fact I would swap the spark plug and the coil with a good pair from the front because I don't want to have to keep going back there if I can avoid it. Also make sure there are no vacuum leaks from the surge tank or hoses along the back.

iirc, the coils on the rear bank were notorious for failing. I would start with that as the prime suspect.

His original post said he changed all of the coils.
So maybe some bad wiring??
Maybe but I am suspect of most coils (if they are aftermarket) as I had poor experience with the cheap ebay ones. Some others experience with them is different.

However, the easiest way to rule out a coil/plug misfire issue on #2 is to swap and see if the issue follows to the new position.
How many times have you chased your tail after you replaced a part, just to go back and see it was installed wrong or bad out of the box? In my case, not alot-- but enough to consider it.

More times than I can count. Especially on appliances and electrical outlets at work!!

I’ve had very good results with own coils but I would still swap it out just to narrow the possibilities. If it continues at the same cylinder then wiring or computer drivers for spark or fuel? More sophisticated equipment can narrow that down pretty fast if you are willing to pay for it. Most of us here including me are cheap!

Yeah I don't mind working on my own vehicles I save lots of money that way just cost me Parts LOL but I'm definitely going to be doing that probably tomorrow or Saturday just to see what happens if it keeps up I'm going to have no choice but to have the computer check cuz while I'm doing I'm also going to check all the wires make sure there's no phrase
