Well... My tranny (ATX) has been rebuilt twice. It's last rebuild was a recent 3 months ago. The first sign of problems was two days ago on the highway... It slammed around a bit trying to find it's gear. I thought it must have been a fluke. Then it started slamming downshifting while climbing hills a few times... It seemed to shift perfectly on level ground. I went into a shop for an oil change, and I the mechanic pulls the vehicle in I notice a trail of fluid all the way from where the car was parked till it got to the lift inside. At first I suspected oil, but apon examination it is TRANNY FLUID "RED".

The tranny was rebuilt at AAMCO. The car is still under warranty... Do you think I could drive it easily for the weekend and be alright or do you say park it till Monday, when AAMCO opens? My gut tells me to leave it alone before any further damage happens....

I would go with your gut and park it for the weekend. If anything it will save you the hassle of being towed if infact it does go south.

Run it into the ground. As it site Aamco will treat it as a fluid leak and fix it. IF you keep driving it you will further damage it and they will have to remove and repair it.

I know this sounds archaic, but it's the politics that go along with warranties. :)
