I finally got it started since its been sitting for a year and it started up but it wont rev past 4k rpm. I was going to change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and get some of that stuff that takes the water out of gas...but if this doesnt work does anyone know what else it would be. I will try to get new pics up a.s.a.p. its bad *** for $500.00!! But help is definitally needed and appreciated

ATX or MTX. You know there is a rev limiter that prevents damage to all the accessories when theres no load on the car (ie reving in park)

The ATX has a rev limiter in Park and neutral to prevent you from burning up the torque convertor. If it hasn't been running for a year, I'd be cautious before I start banging it off the rev limiter. :)

If you have an MTX I don't know what to tell you. Look for a restriction in the throttle cable.

Actually, the factory rev limiters for the ATX are as follows (applies to the '94-'95 D4U1 strategy):

Parameter Name ··········· Factory Value ·· Address ·· Data Type

Soft Limiters
Rev Limiter 1 On ········· 7000 RPMs ······ 0xCD34 ··· 16-bit word
Rev Limiter 1 Off ········ 7000 RPMs ······ 0xCD36 ··· 16-bit word
Rev Limiter 2 On ········· 7000 RPMs ······ 0xCD3C ··· 16-bit word
Rev Limiter 2 Off ········ 7000 RPMs ······ 0xCD3E ··· 16-bit word
Rev Limiter Neutral On ··· 4000 RPMs ······ 0xCD38 ··· 16-bit word
Rev Limiter Neutral Off ·· 4000 RPMs ······ 0xCD3A ··· 16-bit word

Hard Limiter
PIP Period Filter ········ 8000 RPMs ······ 0xBB12 ··· 16-bit word
