Well, i bought mine 3 months ago. Looked like Ray Charles drove it. All 4 rims where much worse. To boot they were the polished chrome kind. The dealer sandblasted and painted em black. They came out great. No visible signs of curbage anywhere

I found some new OEM wheels online for 450 to 500 per wheel. New and used. My wife did the same thing had to get both half shafts replace warranty phew ... Being lazy I haven't ordered a new wheel yet ill have a full size spare tire for emergency once I do I saved an old tire that's in good shape.

Ford charges $750 per wheel for the petal style, but I've seen sets of four on eBay for as low as $1100. I've done a good job of rashing my wheels over the past two years but would only see the need for new ones if I was entering the car in shows.

I advise you to sell all 4 to me immediately, they are just scap metal now.

J/K!!!

These guys give good advice. May also get a mobile wheel refinisher to get that thing back in primo condition.

WE had similar damage after ice caused my wife to miss a turn and slide into a curb last winter. The damage was about 11" along the same lip. Local wheel restorer told me that while it COULD be fixed, they basically would need to add material and grind it down to match the profile, but that the finish in this case the brushed silver, would have a visible line at the edge of the fill.

We opted for an insurance claim, and OEM wheel replacement. I'm thinking that they sourced a rim at around $900-something.

I did notice another small scuff, not sure where that occurred. Barely noticeable at least, we'll probably live with it, knowing how much these darn rims cost.

Thats nuts. So many aftermarket rims could be had for a hellllllll of a lot less. And will look better

You can try using steel stick by JB weld to fill the damage area. Just let it dry, sand to smooth it then paint.
