If anybody is even thinking about mating a SHO motor to a T-5, I have the pilot bushing you will need.
They are made from oil-lite bronze. Oil-lite is a porous sintered bronze bearing that is vacuum-impregnated with 18-20% SAE-30 oil. Heat created by the wheel's rotation draws the oil to the bearings surface. The oil acts as a cushion between the bearing and the axle, reducing wear and increasing resistance to shock loads.
These bushings require less maintenance and lubrication than the plain brass units and will give much longer life.
I still pack the back side cavity with a good quality grease for good measure. They are 1/2" long and fit the SHO crank and the T-5 shaft perfectly.
The cost is 30.00 shipped to anywhere in the continental US. I only have 10 available so get them while they last.
I can also do a needle bearing for the real high HP guys, but that costs 38.00 shipped and I only have 5 of those left.
My paypal is [email protected]
Thanks
Tom
