Hey, what are the advantages/disadvantages to having a single out? Obviously 2 outlets cost more, but what about performance? sound? weight? etc...

Price and simplicity really. The single seems to sound a bit better for some reason.

ya, the dual out, since it isn't true dual out will have 2 different tones. Well, I will just wait for the sound clips to come and make a decision then, but you can add me to the list and I will get a deposit to you when I hear and see everything and decide what I want.

exhaust gases see expansions/contractions/restrictions in pipes so going from a single 2 1/2 inch pipe to having two 2 1/2 inch pipes can cause the gases to expand more and drop back pressure. it's also possible to experience some power loss because of that also. It would only be a couple hp and probably not be noticeable at all. All my conjecture means nothing without the dyno sheets to see what happens though...

I don't really care too much about power loss since it isn't a SHO without a dual exhaust...

hehe The engine makes it an SHO, its a money issue for me atm, and I'm worried the final price is going to jump $100+ for each set.

With the back pressure drop, you lose a little on the low end and gain a little on the top end.

LOL, seriously, unless you are working with HD content on a crappy computer that should be, drop them into the program, click convert, upload, link, done.

What Magnaflow muffler is that? Thats sounds almost identical to old 95 MTX I had with a 8-9" round Magna.

Just an update. The resinator was found lacking and so we are going with a Magnaflow unit for better sound. Hopefully we will have pictures soon.

Full stainless and not aluminized. Will last much longer. You can select your own mufflers.

I will have a deposit for ya on Friday or Saturday.

Whats the ETA on the final price and shipping date?
(just trying to decide how much to send each week, if I have a 2-3 week gap I will break up the deposit cus im poor)
