First, before you de-badge you should check out the thread on truck rebadging, you can see some different ideas.

If the car feels heavy, TUNE, once you get a Livernois tune, the car feels light on it's feet!

You need to have the car realigned, check the big alignment thread here for advice. You also need special bolts to be able to adjust the camber.

My next "how-to" write is on removing the front bumper / clip since I just installed my custom mesh grilles last week.

...

I can't wait for August too arrive so I have the available funds for my next power adder from LMS..... yep, I've grown accustomed to my modified Stage 4 tune already....

------------------ Mike

Hi Mike,

I will repaint my front bumper with a firned of mine and if I can remove it, maybe it would make it eaiser and eliminate the need of covering and taping all around... So I am interested to see how to remove the fronrt bumper.

What is the next power adder from LMS? Is it more than a tune? Is it the meth? If just an improve tune, I am more than interested, but I don't think you'd have to wait until August to accumulate the funds to afford a tune...

Thanks,

Steve

Just visited with Rick today and bought the tuner. He is one of the nicest people around. He gave me a tour of the shop and showed me all the cars they are currently working on. I installed stage 2 and loving it so far. I will give stage 3 a try tomorrow.

I wouldl be very interested in the front bumper removal as well. I would love to replace the grills too but not sure what to do with the radar system in front.

I just noticed today while coasting through a light I pressed gas and felt like trans slippage... First time it happened. Will tuning help? Or do I need to take to service.

Thanks man. I put in stage 3 tonight and like it even more. I wont go to stage 4 anytime soon (at least thats what I tell myself). I do have a question though. I put in stage 3 tonight and when it was done I held down the start button and then it made all the weird noises. It went though the download on the tuner. Does this mean it erased my stock tune and replaced it with what was loaded on the computer? Why did it download when it was done loading my tune? As you can tell im still learning how to use this thing.

It's not merely a tune that I'm saving up cashola for......

Our family trip this year is a 1 week, all inclusive trip to Jamaica for 7 nights, 8 days and that's coming up quick (mid July)..... plus I have to put money to the side for the kids school registration and fall/winter competitive swimming....

So umm yea, need to wait til August as I explained to Rick @ LMS.

As far as the bumper removal, it was surprisingly a piece of cake. Much much easier than it was removing the front bumper for the Charger.

I'll be doing the write sometime in the near future, I already have like 90-95% of the necessary pics in my Photobucket album, so just a matter of taking the time to coordinate a frame by frame write up with them.

Stay tuned :thumb:

I was in Jamaica exactly a month ago and had a blast. Weather was awesome and I drank more that week than the last 5 years combined. I highly recommend a zip line excursion. It's even fine for young kids. There were two that were available that I saw. The one I took has a 6 wheel truck in their brochure. I'm not the best with heights and was perfectly fine doing it. Also did a sunset sail on a catamaran and it was just okay.

I would take it in. Did you get a clunk? There's a tsb that supposed to help with this. It's a modification to the valve body. I am taking mine in next week to do that and to figure out why the lumbar on my seat isnt working.
