I tried to order the SHO letters from the passenger side dash from my Ford dealer with no luck, told me you have to buy the whole dash plate. I want to get something like that to put under the driver headlight on the bumper. My opinion is the car needs something to tell people that it is something other than a regular Taurus from the front! Any suggestions or has anybody done this to their car?

Someone on here before made the Ford emblem say Twin Turbo or SHO on it IIRC. One of my Lightning guys actually makes the gel dome say anything you want. I'll have to see if he can create an SHO one for us. Keep your fingers crossed. :munch:

True, but I want them to look in their mirror and sweat a little until the light turns green!

And along those same thought lines I would like to not advertise to the young foreign make wing car drivers that the old grey haired guy dusted their little pride and joy rides in a SHO but the pipes would still give it away.

It makes a great sleeper to play with anyway.

SHO letters on the passenger side? Is it a Gen 2? It's the one above the glove compartment? Go to the jukyard or maybe someone on the board can sell it to you if you need to replace it.

If you need it for the front of the car, just get a vinyl decal made.

Or get a SHO or Powered by Yamaha windshield banner from ebay.

Or you can get a badge from wclewis.com

Ordered the SHO emblem from ebay today, think I will put it on the front/lower section in black. Will send a picture when I get it.

Need some help again posting pictures, just put the new SHO emblem on the front of the car. I think it looks really good, pretty stealth......If I can email them to someone that would be great.

IMHO it looks out of place. The colors really don't go with the rest of the car either (do they make an all chrome or black version). Might look better if you blacked out the Ford oval and placed the emblem there. The Ford oval and the SHO emblem fight for attention the way you have it now (and you now have 2 Ford ovals on the front of the car). I've been a Graphic Designer for over 30 years so I do have some background to base my opinion on. I do like how much cleaner the front end looks without the front license plate. They are talking about doing away with the required front plate in MN soon. It's your SHO and if you like it that's all that really matters.
