Last night some rich kid came to the restaurant in 2010 bmw, claiming to be twin turbo. when I asked how much torque does "it" have, he didn't seem like to know anything about his car, but was very proud of it though, even gave valet some hard time, so i said, let's see what your car can do he asked me if that blue taurus was mine and said no, next time he will bring something else. I am actually impressed , because I think, because of NEW sho people understand what Taurus SHO is. Before i used to get laughs about Taurus with a body kit.
You might need to learn about the BMW, they do have a twin turbo charged version: BMW

I know they have twin turbo engines, that was not my point. My point was that 21-year old kid driving that car didn't feel safe to race a ford taurus sho.
the more you post the more it seems as though you should own a Honda.
Why did you feel the need to pass Judgment on his BMW? sounds like you were jelious you didnt have one. if you were a real car nut you would have told him " hey man nice BMW"
Eventually you will understand that the SHO is not and never will be fast. its a family sedan with pep. and that makes it a blast to drive. in the end your car (and mine) is still 20 year old technology thats quickly being overrun with modern 4 cyl hyundais.
Owning an SHO isnt about how fast you can make it. or what it will beat. You should know this if you have owned umteen of them. Owning an SHO is a lot like owning a Jeep. in the end only another SHO owner understands your passion for an outdated family sedan.
Unfortunatly. i believe that you may never understand that.

Dude, you think i don't understand that SHO is an old technology? I do, but I'm proud of it,because until 2003 this car was pretty competing sedan on the roads. They really did a great job making this engine and until today some people who know about it, give some respect to the owners of it.For example some guy about 45year old with New audi A4 showed his interest in my car. 2 minute conversation and he admitted that in 3-rd gear i would beat him. I have "08 A4 myself, which is a nice car and not slow and very comfortable and technology used in making it is also awesome. I wanted to buy Hyundai Genesis this autumn too. I don't like Hondas that much to own one and SHO now is like a classic and as long as I can play with it, I will have it and experiment with it.
