I've heard of twin engine car, but that was audi, not SHO. that's a hard one.
There's a Hyundai Tiburon twin engine car.

exhaust gases spin turbo compressor and push large amounts of air into cylinders. air makes fuel burn more efficient. Do you want me to elaborate on that?

Basically..but not really. You know that it helps make power, but you site efficiency as the reason. That's not true.
"Air makes fuel burn more efficient"
Should read something like this...
"Increasing the airflow into the cylinders allows/requires the engine to consume a proportionatly higher quantity of fuel."
What YOU said would mean that you don't burn any extra fuel when you pump the extra air from the turbo into the intake. That would cause your engine to run lean.
From what I've read so far in this thread, it sounds like you WANT to know a lot more than your DO know...hence the reason everyone is telling you to do research before asking questions.
Before messing with a turbo of any kind, you should be able to
describe the function AND purpose of and/or define the following without opening another browser window to search... (yes...function and purpose are 2 totally different things).
Oxygen Sensor-especially "wide band" setups (what is it, how does it work, why is it needed)
MAF (what is it, how does it work, and why is it needed)
Stoichiometric
Barometric Pressure
Spark plug temperature
and lots more...
Don't get me wrong, most mechanically inclined people can figure out how to fab up / bolt on a turbo and get more power, but anyone that want's to get seriously into modding an internal combustion engine should have a thorough understanding of what takes place during the combustion process.
douche
Art5 IMHO do what you want, it keeps it interesting and you seem to be taking it like a man. (pun intended) Just understand that if this forum could collect $20 for every Summer's Eve that joins and starts wanting to make his $289 SHO have 500hp and is clueless about how and what else needs to happen, Beth could retire. Good luck and baby steps.
It's still a hyundai.
From now on, let's just go with Summer's Eve...mmmkay?
