what's the problem now? All I want to know is if i was to make bi-turbo setup on Yamaha, how much work would i be looking at in terms of internals.

You were already pointed in the direction of the thread that will tell you all the info you need to know. Which means you either can't read it because it's grammatically correct, you're too dumb to understand it, too lazy to read it, or want someone to tell you exactly what to do. Many people have done it, there's a lot of info on here about it, you're the one that wants to do it, and it's your job to do the research and reading on it. Those that have done it have been kind enough to document it here, use the information they've given you.

Perhaps if you were less of a tool, more people would be willing to help. [/leash]

6 turbos would be even better!!!!

Back to the smart side of things, I can remember seeing a street rod with a setup similar to those turbos for each cylinder. IIRC it was usinig some sort of Weber carb or Hilborn injection setup. Looked like a pain in the ass to fab, but a really cool result!

So, Art5's project as of today: Mid engine SHO V6 swap into a Hyundai Elantra sedan, complete with micro turbos, Hilborn mechanical injection, propane and alcohol induction, and a whole **** of a lotta timing advance. Oh, don't forget the scatter shield too. You have until Friday to complete.

OK all kidding aside a twin turbo is real nice eye candy,if you have the room for it.Now the problem is the taurus is not exactly famous for that feature!I believe Toolman posted a few pics of a track car he,s building, that had the abs n cruise and all unneeded equipment stripped out.Looks like there is plenty of room on the driver side and if you relocate the battery to the trunk, move the power steering res. else where ya open up the passenger side.Alls that left is to build yourself some nice inconel or no less than 316 stainless steel collector pipes and mounts(that should only set ya back about $2000) Now go scrounge up a cpl of t 25 turbos or if you,re really in the tard mode some t-3s/4s.The stock crank is forged so it,s fine, and i believe everyone is runnin the stock forged rods.If you are reasonable with the boost stock pistons work well(I got the feeling the reasonable card is not being played here) So congratulation you now have a engine that is capable of turning a MTX tranny into a box full of metal powder and shavings, axle blowing monster!!!! Just a nice single turbo and a beefed up gearbox (**** you,re half way there ya got the quaife) ya want fast?go buy a lincoln MK VIII for cheap dump 2 grand in it n go 11s(that is if you turn your own wrenches)Don,t get me wrong i love theses turds,i have 3 of em,but the FREEEEKING reality is its a gussied up taurus!!! i equate what you are thinking of with STRADDLING A TOILET FLUSHING 100 DOLLAR BILLS WHILE BEATING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL lol:nut:

thanks, I see your point and so far makes way more sense then other participants.
I know that it is easier to get all that power from a V8, but I like yamaha SHO V6 and for some reason won't calm down Until I do everything possible to still compete with all these fast cars they make today. I'm European and could find many other better cars to work on, but I live here and this one so far is the one I really like to play with.

Yeah. Once you are into the engine, you can't get out of the SHO game. If money allows, I would do everything that I can possibly do to the engine to find out what this engine can do. My dream with my 91 would be doing rear burnouts in the car and running under 10 sec 1/4 mile.

I like the way it looks in the picture. I had 91+ once, but was stupid to sell it.Now I can't get the same one anymore plus i have issues with color green.

Art5 do you even know what a turbo is?

Dont post a picture explain to me what a turbo is and i might actually think about helping you figure out how to twin turbo one of these engine.

Oh and just to let you know i don't see why you would want to twin turbo it anyways cause one large turbo is more efficient then two small ones.

ok, First if all I've had 13 SHOs and currently own 3. I did bunch of mods before and seemed to work fine.
Second, i really want to make a Bi-turbo(like audi) and probably way more than 400HP to the wheels.
I don't think anyone will make bi or even twin turbo kit for this car.
New SHO............don't think so! I went to look at one last week and dealers came out to look at mine and they liked mine, but I liked only 70% of that new thing they call SHO now. For the price that they are asking for that ,whatever that is, i don't think i want to consider it, at least untill they fix all their recals first.

About positioning the engine right, I really appreciate that comment, because i was also thinking about SHOgun project, but also interested in making a fast sedan.

How about a twin engine car ;)

The twinsho is being built :)

exhaust gases spin turbo compressor and push large amounts of air into cylinders. air makes fuel burn more efficient. Do you want me to elaborate on that?
