I guess I'm not understanding the point of the Accent project. Are you wanting to make a midship powertrain setup in one? Or are we speaking hypothetically?

there was sarcastic suggestion to build an SHO out of Accent, i said, that it could be a good idea, but i would like to Have SHO sedan very very fast, so then there was another suggestion of Accent sedan, which i would not consider at all. My first question was bi/twin turbo for an SHO engine, if it is something worth of a try and technical thinking about it.

Well it will be a single setup and proabably will have instant repsonse with the numbers we have done. It will be a compact setup without a lot of piping. We are still working on sourcing parts but it should be good.

keep it affordable and you will sell a boat load of them! Including me!

that's how fast my neighbor was going in his M5 beating me.

impossible, if you own a BMW and exceed 120mph, the laws of physics dictate that you must run it off teh end of a private airport runway, or jump a hill and bury the car into someones living room

but most high end car owners are to busy MF'ing the dealership because of a wind noise they have had since the last time they caused a 15 car pile up on their way to their ****** job that barely pays for the car

The audacity. I can't believe what I am reading. Just because someone drives a high end car does not mean that they are even remotely :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Sorry couldn't keep a straight face

I don't know why it is impossible if I went a little past 140 in a swapped bmw(was very like not to crush) when I raced with that guy and i know for a fact that one of my older SHOs did 140 easy and still was pulling after that(modified). And M5 with V10 with all of it's technical specs to go fast, should be able to do that.

Okay, I need to speak out here... i love the SHO!! However, my recently purchased Continental will run circles over my Yamaha! So, help this guy out with his turbo fetish, we may all learn something from his end result.

That's right I can't afford New SHO at this moment, since, i had to go back to school and schedule is killing me, but i could after after New Year. I've sold a lot of cars and repaired even more and I noticed how crappy american cars are made it terms of interior and other cosmetic details. I wish that SHO was made by Japaneese of Koreans, who seem to put more effort in making their cars for people to drive and not to be bothered with repairs. The only good thing about SHO if their powerplant, the rest of the car is garbage, and we all here, i think, have to go through a lot of effort to make this car worth the engine.
New SHO seems to me the same way. They did spend time and effort in making parts of interior "expensive" , but some parts, i could not believe, that look like 12000 cheap car that will brake as soon as you drive it out of a dealership. A lot more pluses and minuses, but one thing , very important for me is that it is AUTOMATIC!(Never liked that).
Old sho is smaller and has more interest to me than any other car because of it's engine, that i think is a piece of art. I still enjoy people in cars that cost over $50000 see Taurus pull away with a nice sound of exotic car. That would be nice if owners of cars that cost over $120000 would experience the same.

OK all kidding aside a twin turbo is real nice eye candy,if you have the room for it.Now the problem is the taurus is not exactly famous for that feature!I believe Toolman posted a few pics of a track car he,s building, that had the abs n cruise and all unneeded equipment stripped out.Looks like there is plenty of room on the driver side and if you relocate the battery to the trunk, move the power steering res. else where ya open up the passenger side.Alls that left is to build yourself some nice inconel or no less than 316 stainless steel collector pipes and mounts(that should only set ya back about $2000) Now go scrounge up a cpl of t 25 turbos or if you,re really in the tard mode some t-3s/4s.The stock crank is forged so it,s fine, and i believe everyone is runnin the stock forged rods.If you are reasonable with the boost stock pistons work well(I got the feeling the reasonable card is not being played here) So congratulation you now have a engine that is capable of turning a MTX tranny into a box full of metal powder and shavings, axle blowing monster!!!! Just a nice single turbo and a beefed up gearbox (**** you,re half way there ya got the quaife) ya want fast?go buy a lincoln MK VIII for cheap dump 2 grand in it n go 11s(that is if you turn your own wrenches)Don,t get me wrong i love theses turds,i have 3 of em,but the FREEEEKING reality is its a gussied up taurus!!! i equate what you are thinking of with STRADDLING A TOILET FLUSHING 100 DOLLAR BILLS WHILE BEATING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL lol:nut:
