ok, First if all I've had 13 SHOs and currently own 3. I did bunch of mods before and seemed to work fine.
Second, i really want to make a Bi-turbo(like audi) and probably way more than 400HP to the wheels.
I don't think anyone will make bi or even twin turbo kit for this car.
New SHO............don't think so! I went to look at one last week and dealers came out to look at mine and they liked mine, but I liked only 70% of that new thing they call SHO now. For the price that they are asking for that ,whatever that is, i don't think i want to consider it, at least untill they fix all their recals first.

About positioning the engine right, I really appreciate that comment, because i was also thinking about SHOgun project, but also interested in making a fast sedan.

Turbo's really wake up the SHO engine to high output levels, which the Taurus was never designed to handle. First make sure to redo/upgrade the entire esuspension, chassis, HD motor mounts, big brakes, fuel system, clutch, Quaife/Wavetrack, etc. An overpowered car with no control is no fun and unsafe, and would be slower around a track than a built SHO with a stock motor.

Hmm, fixing all their recalls. Last I checked, my car is 14 years old, and had a cruise control recall last year. Oh well, at least it wasn't a floor mat.

And you knew no details about the engine?

I'd like to see this done too.

SHOSource is working on a kit. I've never looked into the details, so I'm not sure if it's twin, bi, ****, or otherwise. Personally, I think it's cool that SHOsource is making so many new products, but it'll be interesting to see how many sell.

Spoken like a guy that can't afford one. (neither can I). The new car is a good value, based on performance and features that put it in a class with the best of the best sedans. Maybe the styling doesn't suit you, but you can't deny the awesomeness of the ECOSHO.

That's right I can't afford New SHO at this moment, since, i had to go back to school and schedule is killing me, but i could after after New Year. I've sold a lot of cars and repaired even more and I noticed how crappy american cars are made it terms of interior and other cosmetic details. I wish that SHO was made by Japaneese of Koreans, who seem to put more effort in making their cars for people to drive and not to be bothered with repairs. The only good thing about SHO if their powerplant, the rest of the car is garbage, and we all here, i think, have to go through a lot of effort to make this car worth the engine.
New SHO seems to me the same way. They did spend time and effort in making parts of interior "expensive" , but some parts, i could not believe, that look like 12000 cheap car that will brake as soon as you drive it out of a dealership. A lot more pluses and minuses, but one thing , very important for me is that it is AUTOMATIC!(Never liked that).
Old sho is smaller and has more interest to me than any other car because of it's engine, that i think is a piece of art. I still enjoy people in cars that cost over $50000 see Taurus pull away with a nice sound of exotic car. That would be nice if owners of cars that cost over $120000 would experience the same.

Well it will be a single setup and proabably will have instant repsonse with the numbers we have done. It will be a compact setup without a lot of piping. We are still working on sourcing parts but it should be good.

A few things of note here.

1) You're speaking about a car that is at least 15 years old at this point, if not more. Yep, there's gonna be maintenance and repair with something that old, regardless of make.

2) I know of no $50k vehicles that an NA SHO can "pull away" from, unless we're talking SUV's or dump trucks.

3) Speaking of dump trucks, they're excellent sources for turbos.

4) The rest of your car is a pile of shit, and you're willing to dump thousands into it to homoturbo it? That just makes no sense.

5) You've been an awesome source of Monday morning entertainment. Thank you.

I know the car is very old. I am not talking about maintenance and service repairs, but about things like door panels falling off any ford car not older than 4 years, buttons breaking, and so on.
Expensive cars, was refered to cars like bmw, audi and mercedes and other cars with some power under the hood. Of course SHo has to have some mods to release that potential of the engine. What sedan can I put that engine into? Recommend something.
If i entertained you , thank you. I'm also seeking advise to my questions.
