Excuse me for hyjacking this thread... but in the interest of NEW ideas... I have bolted 4 castors to my roof and 2 to each to the front hood and rear trunk.... JUST IN CASE I END UP UPSIDE DOWN! This is my effort to stay ahead of BPD....

Really?..

Seriously, I realize I am older than dirt... but does this do anything for performance, fuel mileage, etc??? I know that 4DRHTRD and most of the rest of you are light years ahead of me on engine tech... just trying to understand why I should consider doing this.

Damn... I wanted to fart.... :thankyou::woo-hoo::sun::sun::sun:

(If I could only bottle it... I wouldn't have to buy Methanol!!!)

Actually, with Torrie's tunes etc. I was getting a pretty strong PFFFFFT every time I let off the gas!

Bob I think that's methane not methanol...lol...ford could totally offer this as a dealer installed option! :) And just to be clear I'm not talking about Bob's methane, I'm talking about the VTA BOV :)

so you ended up leaving both blow off valves open to atmosphere correct? I cant tell by your pics if you put a cap on the front one or not... obviously you left the rear open

I did the mod, it is pretty cool to be able to hear them vent.

Why do we have 2 BOV's? Could you unplug one, or cap one off and just use one BOV? this would in theory make the second one louder.

The back one is for the rear turbo the front one is for the front turbo via the intercooler, it was the easiest way they could implement I would guess.
I'm working on a new set of hot pipes for our cars that will remove the factory BoV entirely and put an aftermarket BoV next to the throttle body as one of the options.

Development ongoing, should be done next week, this is the set that won't have stock BoV but will have an aftermarket one on the intercooler to throttle body pipe

I will have pricing and information as soon as we're all done!

These will be available coated or uncoated your choice. The first sets available will be without provisions for the factory blow off valves and you'll have a provision for an aftermarket one.
We're going to have to machine a provision for the factory BoV to make the factory ones work, that will take a bit longer.
