Is there an ajustment on the shifter cause mine hits the councle 1 3 5 gear only?

Hes saying his shifter hits the dash when he is in 1,3,5.
I don't know much about these linkages or anything to know if you can adjust it, or if you just need some new bushings something along those lines.

Ok thanks for giving me alil help on the way to fixs this. And whats he talking about 518.. Thats not the sho iam talking about. And u think iam lieing about those numbers. Ask anone here on the forum. My Buick is powerful

my spare tranny would only take 1,3,and 5 when i first got it (of course the guy i bought it from swore there was nothin wrong with it)
but i tore it apart and found out one of the syncros was apart..........but as for adjustments to the best of my knowledge there is none for the SHO...........Bizzy would know for sure tho (she helped me get mine back together)

u call that a race.. That was supercharged to 100hp less than waht they had at the time.

check and see if any of the 2 rods under the car are broken, if the support linkage is snapped from rust than it will screw with the shifter alignment and the shifter won't be able to push its rod far enough foward when you pull back for 2nd/4th.

I heard your S/C was just as fast. you run what a 12.8 with your buick now if I am correct? thats a little low for 518whp. Might wanna have daddy take a look at it.

When you look at the shifter box, look where the stabilizer rod connects to the mounting plate. I had this break on my SHO and if I had not had the short shifter I would have not been able to drive. But the way the shifter linkage was hanging, it would not engage 2, 4 or reverse. It wasn't clear in your post if you could or not.
