All,

I had posted that my shifter was rocking back and forth when I went over bumps. Couple guys said my swaybar was on upside down. Can anyone tell if that's the case from the pictured below?

We'd need to see the bar where it crosses in front of the steering rack, but to save you the trouble, the center of the bar should be above the center line of the sway bar brackets. If it hangs below, it's upside down.

Also - it doesn't hit the shifter rod when the suspension is unloaded (barely). Mine had rub marks on it - but it was painted silver, so easy to see.

I did this too. There is even a support group here for this problem. You will have to drop the rear of the subframe.

Sigh,

I thought someone would say that. ok, so, drop the subframe at the rear. Can I do that w/o affecting the alignment? I just had it aligned.

ok, I looked under the car. I can see rub marks on the sway bar where it's hitting the shifter. The sway bar angles down as it crosses over the shifter. Assuming it should be angling up. Ergo, it's upside down. There's a support group? Did a thread search, nothing.

Drop the rear of the subframe, support with a jack. If you don't loosen the front, alignment won't be affected.

Not unless you have AlSFB's.

Granted, you're not letting the whole thing drop to the ground, you're only lowering the subframe 2" or 3" to unbolt the sway brackets and pull the bar out the side.
