SES part 2

I posted a couple of weeks ago about my SES light coming on due to a trans code, well it is really weird, after I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, the light stayed off for about a week maybe more. It came back on just a couple days ago and now to my amazement it has gone off on its own. Anyone got any comments or ideas as to why the light went off? I know the transmission has not fixed itself, go figure?

Many codes can be intermittent, and therefore not continuously illuminate the MIL. The codes will still be stored in memory. When the keep alive is cleared, it can often take several days or longer for all the drive cycle tests to complete before a MIL will return.
